I guess it has been a while since I last wrote. Went to the states for the winter holiday break. Came back to the UAE on New Year’s Eve . Luckily I had a couple days to recover form the jet lag…
My daughter came to visit and went kayaking in the mangroves, did a desert safari, and shopped in Dubai. I had a great visit with her.
I,went to Liwa the next weekend with friends to see the worlds largest sand dune. It was very tall. We ran into quite a few camels on the trip. Some were very curious about us.
This past weekend I went it Oman for the first time. What a delightful place for a quick weekend getaway. I bought six yards of fabric and a wall hanging, had a hard time closing my suitcase….
Today was an unexpected rainy day. It is about sixty and very humid. The girls ran around bear foot in the rain, I could only think how chilly that was. Soon the semester break will be here and another trip…
